Aeroflot

Aeroflot claims to be the "Largest company in Russia, and it's not just words." (Source, Aeroflot Airlines-Moscow, 09 February, 2009).

Founded 9 February, 1923, the Moscow based airline began flying 15 July, 1923. Aeroflot is one of the world's oldest operating airlines of record. Under the Lenin government, the Soviet state run airline ran a two operating company divisional service; a domestic line that was totally a Soviet operation, and a joint air venture with Germany designed to connect Russia with the western world. The German partnership ended in 1939.

In post war times, "Aeroflot" became synonymous with Soviet (now Russian) aviation. Surviving from the collapse of the former Soviet Union, Aeroflot serves 95 points in 48 countries, is certified ISO 9001:2000 for Conformity of Quality Management Standards, and boast an e-ticket and reservation system by VOLQOQRADSKOE, comparable to any airline system in the world.

Aeroflot flys to:
Amsterdam, Stockholm, Budapest, Paris, Copenhagen, Delhi, Dusseldorf, Rome, Frankfurt, Geneva, Hanover, Hamburg, Hong Kong, Seoul, New York, Los Angeles, London, Munich, Nice, Tokyo, Oslo, Beijing, Shanghai, Vienna, Warsaw
