Air Caledonie
Air Caledonie was established in 1954. The New Caladonian island republic launched it's flagship airline on 25 September, 1955 as Transpac and for 13 years was known under this name. In 1968, the Airline rebranded itself Air Caladonie. When the airlines reorganization process was taking place, the airlines majority shareholder emerged as the New Caledonian Government. The Territorial Government of New Caledonia has a 50.28% interest in the airline. The New Caledonian island provinces have an invested interest of 43.31%, private investors-various have a 4.32% interest in the airline and Air France has a 2.09% interest.Air Caledonie is certified under the French Civil Aviation Authority in Paris, France.As of March 2007, Air Caledonie had 225 employees. Air Caledonie has intergrated Aeropack airlines management system for fleet operations systems. Magenta Airport is the Hub Airport of Air Caledonie.
