Air Malta

Air Malta began on 1 April, 1974 with scheduled service to Tripoli, Paris, Frankfurt, Rome, Birmingham, Manchester and London. Maltese hospitality is what Air Malta advertises to draw both holiday and business travelers. As of February 2009, Air Malta had a 12 aircraft fleet, made up of 7 airbus A320's and 5 Airbus A319's. Osprey Insurance Brokers Co.,Ltd; Holiday Malta; Selmun Palace Hotel; Shield Insurance; and Sabratha, a duty free company are the five subsidiary companies of Air Malta PLC. Osprey Insurance Brokers Co. Ltd is a tour operation that is a secondary way of ensuring that Air Malta flights don't fly empty.
