Malaysia Airlines is the state-owned flag carrier of Malaysia. It has its HQ on the grounds of Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Global airfield in Subang, Selangor. In spite of a monetary restructuring exercise in 2006, Malaysia Airlines maintains a robust presence in South and East Asia as well as the Middle East and on the Kangaroo Route between Europe and Australasia. It operates transpacific flights from Kuala Lumpur to LA, thru Taipei.
