Scoot Airlines Australia is owned by Singapore Airlines, and flies from Singapore to both Australia and China. It is a Budget Airline (Low Cost Carrier) and plans to give AirAsia and Jetstar a run for their money. Scoot claims to be up to 40% cheaper than other airlines.
Scoot has both Business class (called ScootBiz) and various levels of Economy class. They have chosen iPads over in-flight entertainment, free for business class and available for hire in economy.
