Darwin Travel Information

Darwin is the most populated city of Australia's Northern Territory, also serving as that territory's capital city. At a population of 145,000, it is dwarfed by Australia's larger cities, but in the otherwise rural Northern Territory, it stands out as the obvious industrial hub. The history of Darwin is a rich one. In the middle 19th century, it served as a port for Charles Darwin's famous HMS Beagle.
