Founded 7 October, 1933, Soci?t? Air France is one of the largest airlines in the world. Charles Charles De Gaulle Airport is its main hub, and is also based in Paris, France. Air France has FLYING BLUE as the airline frequent flyer rewards program. Air France is a SkyTeam member and it's slogan is "Making the sky the best place on Earth.".

On 30 September, 2003, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Soci?t? Air France merged.

As the airline works to cut cost in the face of a growing recession AIR FRANCE-KLM and Singapore Airlines are considering postponing receipt of previously ordered aircraft (as of 16 February,2009). Air France has 408 aircraft including regional and subsidiary assets.
