The Taiwan Straits air carrier flys a fleet of 53 jets with four (4) on order and services 47 destinations.Eva Airways is traded on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. In 2007, long haul service for EVA Airways was initiated with a Non-stop Taipei To New York (Newark Liberty International) air service. Airline manifest recorded a passenger count of 6.2 million passengers in 2007.
