Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) is the multi-national airline of Denmark, Norway and Sweden. SAS has a twenty p.c. stake in bmi as well as a 49% position in Estonian Air. Scandinavian Airlines System entered the jet age in 1959 when its first jet aircraft, the Caravelle, entered service.
