Malpensa Airport is about 50 km north-west of central Milan. It has two terminals: Terminal 1 handles most international flights, Terminal 2 is used exclusively by easyJet. The train is the most reliable way into the city.

• Malpensa Express runs to Milano Cadorna (central Milan, near the Duomo) in about 37 minutes, or to Milano Centrale (the main intercity rail hub) in about 51 minutes. Trains run every 30 minutes from about 4:30 am to midnight. The station is connected to both terminals. Validate your ticket before boarding, as inspectors do issue fines.
• Airport buses (Autostradale, FlixBus and others) run to Milano Centrale in about 50 to 60 minutes. Cheaper than the train but subject to motorway traffic, especially during trade fairs.
• Taxis operate on a fixed flat fare from the airport to central Milan. Only use licensed white taxis from the official rank. The drive takes about 50 to 60 minutes depending on traffic.
